NIPD Experts to Survey the Control and Prevention Situation of Kala-azar in Erjina

Erjina, a county of Inner Mongolia, is an endemic area of kala-azar. The current status of control and prevention of this disease has been kept unknown. During the period of 22nd to 25th , October, 2014, NIPD experts visited some of the villages in ErJina, and had a look at the local environment, and communicated with the local doctors to know the past cases and situation.

After the survey, they drew a better understanding of the place, and made it convenient to carry out the control and prevention work there.
