On December 12th, 2104, more than 60 teachers and students from QIXIU Experimental Middle School visited the parasite museum of NIPD, China CDC. Staff from the NIPD introduced the morphology, transmission routes, and hazards of important parasites such as hookworm, whipworm, pinworm and roundworm, etc. Students also learned how to prevent from being infected by parasites in daily lives. Through the visit, knowledge of parasite disease prevention has been disseminated, and the students’ conscious for disease prevention has been improved.
